Hello .i have asked for a mandatory reconcideration i have it back i have finaly got an appointment on the 13 july to see cab in wigan,the letter is dated 16 july do i ring for more time ,and the mr is making me sound worse when i am genuine is it worth going to a tribunal i have anxiety and ibs osteoartheritis in neck spine knees and ankles i had an injection today but tried all last week to see cab they turn people away, what should i do ,my marriage is rocky ,i am on sick because of my knees ,i got a suppoting letter this morning as my doctor is flabagasted i havent got it , anyone help

You lose nothing by making the call, being unable to access face to face advice is a reasonable reason for asking for more time.

You mention your conditions, but PIP is not awarded because of these but rather the limitations that they impose on your ability to complete the PIP activities.

What did you expect to score points for?

If the MR is unsuccessful then you should certainly consider an appeal. Revision rates at MR are very low whereas they are over 60% at appeal.

If you can provide more information about your problems and the DWP's view on them from the Decision letter then we will do our best. Reply to this post so that all of your information is in one place. You might want to bookmark this topic in your browser so it is easy to find.
