Hi, Acting for my wife, she sumitted her transfer form from DLA to PIP. Having previously received Higher rate of care and lower rate of mobility on DLA, she subsequently had the mobility component withdrawn on transfer to PIP. I sumitted a reconsideration and it was upgraded to Standard mobility. I submitted further medical evidence and requested a revision order of the reconsideration, resulting in an award of enhanced mobility. My questions are: a. When the standard mobility was awarded on reconsideration, is the start date of payment backdated to: i. the day after the mobility was stopped on DLA, or ii. the date of the reconsideration decision.
b. Latterly, when the enhanced mobility was awarded on revision of the reconsideraiton, is the difference between standard and enhanced rate payment backdated to i. the day after mobility was stopped on DLA, (assuming that standard rate is awarded as above) or, ii. backdated to the date of the reconsideration (assuming that standard rate is awarded as above) or, iii. backdated to the date of the revision of the reconsideration.
