I have completed my PIP form but because I have difficulty remembering things I left some important things out of my form. I've posted it but want to get the other info into the form before the panel make their decision. I also think that I forgot to sign it!!!!!
What is likely to happen now?
Will I be able to put the new information in as my I posted it on my deadline of 30th June......or will they make me start the process as a new PIP appeal?

Also they told me the form would be posted to me within 3 weeks but it didn't arrive until week 4. will they be aware of this? do they track the post? Will they extend my time for filling it in as i didn't receive it in the allocated time?

your help would be greatly appreciated. i've now become very anxious about this and can't sleep.

thanks in advance.

John

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

The simplest thing is to write a letter with the extra information and explaining how the omission occurred, send this to the same address that you send your PIP2 form.

As you form has been returned you can't ask for an extension.

Make sure you keep a copy of the letter and take a copy to any face to face assessment that you have and ask the assessor to read it and include it in your file before they return it to the DWP.

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
