My husband has just started his state pension, but he has been claiming carers allowance for me for over 10 years, the DWP have now sent a letter saying that his carers allowance will now stop, but my MS hasn't gone away and I still need the same amount of care. Is this normal when you reach pension age? Regards

I'm afraid the State Pension and Cares Allowance are classed as overlapping benefits, this means that only the higher can be paid. He still retains an underlying entitlement to CA and if he is eligible for Pension Credits would receive the Carers Premium as an addition.
