Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Neither DLA nor PIP are described as working benefits so I'm afraid whether you can work or not is not relevant as long as you were under the age of 65 on 8 April 2013 then you will be invited to claim PIP at some time in the next few years.

If you are unable to work have you looked at claiming ESA?
