Heart failure , aged 66, gets DLA was created by tweedy
We have received letter telling DLA is ending must apply for pip ,my husband is 66 and has indefinite award , is this correct or a mistake ?My husband has heart failure and severe osteo arthritis among other problems ,iOS it worth applying ? Thanks.

I'm afraid that all DLA claimants who were under the age of 65 on 8 April 2013 will be invited to claim PIP as a replacement for their existing DLA award.

I can't say whether you husband will receive an award for PIP, but if they don't apply his DLA claim will still be closed.
