Sorry... was created by Ziggy
Dear Advisers,
I'm sorry for my naivety in understanding how this website works, but I'm finding it very hard to navigate. As I was clicking away, I found how to send an email which alone was an achievement as my computer knowledge is non existent. However, I sent a message and somehow found your reply, which suggested I look at FAQ. Unfortunately, I'm not having much luck in finding FAQ - I've been sitting here for over an hour and still can't find anything relating to loss of mobility cars.
Furthermore, I submitted a mandatory claim form for my husband, along with the medical evidence from specialists outlining his disability in very simple terms. For some strange reason the assessor completely ignored this and came to her own conclusion by contradicting the medical report. I mean, completely ignored the evidence. Just one example, she brushed aside the Chronic Pain self efficacy scale of just 5/60! Anyway, I don't want to take up anymore of your valuable time, but would appreciate it if you could direct me to someone I can ask for advice. Without a car my husband will not be able to attend his hospital appointments or physiotherapy appointments as we live in the middle of nowhere and cannot afford the £60 a time taxi fares...

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

If you can be more specific about the information you are looking for then we will do our best to help.
We don't cover Motability issues on the forum, so if your questions is about the return of your car then you need to look at their website.

Hi Ziggy
If you have completed a Mandatory Reconsideration and still not received the award that your husband deserves, the next stage is to appeal to the tribunal, which willlook at your case from scratch. The success at the tribunal is much better than at mandatory reconsideration.
