Just have a question that hopefully some of you can help with. I have been on PIP since 2014 and ESA SG since 2015. I received my ESA award letter in May 2015 saying I had been placed in the SG group but unlike my PIP award there was mention of how long the award is for?
I was wondering if anyone might have any idea how long the ESA award is? My PIP award lasts for 4 years at a time. I'm a bit hesitant to ring them I find it a bit of a struggle.
ESA is an indefinite award with regular reassessment, the longest period for the SG is usually three years, but the only way to know with any certainty when you will be reassessed is for you to contact the DWP office dealing with your claim, your computer record includes the likely date of your reassessment.
