Help please? I've got my PIP assessment report back, which I'm asking for reconsideration. I'm struggling to work out an abbreviation - VB. It says, "..this is inconsistent with the VB showing periods of low motivation not on MOD (majority of days)"

Hi cw1,
There is a list online of abbreviations (see link below) that are used when typing up assessments. I've looked but cannot find VB on that list, or anywhere on Google - so I've approved your post, in the hope that someone can elaborate further.

There is a VB mentioned on another site (vaginal bleeding) - however, I'm not sure if this helps in your case or not.

I believe "VB" is crude short-hand for "Variability", which is a section in the Assessor's report (PA4) where they note how each condition varies and whether it applies on the majority of days.
