Good afternoon ,
I would like to say that I have been receiving my ESA payment for two years now .Today I got a payment to my building. Society but on my account it satEd my national insurance number and my benefit It has never appeared like this before has this happened to any one else?Is this not a data protection breach?I’ve tried getting through to them but no one answered my call after 45 minute I hung up.Thanking you and keep up the good work.

Hi Belinda

I quite often see NI numbers on bank account statements.

It is not a breech on your DP as it is a reference number unique to you but does not show your name or address, ico.org.uk
