PIP payments was created by Birmingham
I am in receipt of PIP but my needs have become greater and I would like to apply for higher mobility benefit. I am not sure how to do this as I cannot find a form online. There are appeal forms but I am not appealing but inform them of my loss of mobility. 1 am 73 and my award was for ten years. I have 5 years to go but my condition has deteriorated rapidly due to my ongoing problems. I would be grateful if someone could let me know what or who I should contact. Kind regards Brenda

I am afraid, that if you are 73 then the PIP Mobility component cannot be increased even if you meet the criteria for a Higher award, the legislation does not allow it once the claimant reaches State Pension Age.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
