Mr Frog

Dealing with the anomalies in the report is important but you will only receive a revised award by showing that you meet the criteria for one, so make sure that you have done this.

Anything you submit as part of an MR will be carried forward into any appeal that you might make.

hi
thanks Gordon we did endeavour to make sure we met the requirements also ensuring using the golden words repeatedly, Reliably, and safely. Hope it works as the assessor in our eyes definitely misled the DM with not knowing what Cardio Vascular Angina Syndrome X was which means in short any form of repeated exertion causes the heart to go into spasms and causes Angina

Hi
Received the brown envelope today 26th April though it is dated 19th April does this mean we have only 3 weeks to go to tribunal. as there is 7 days lost in sending and receiving the notification
The DM has totally dismissed our submissions and new GP evidence and the award has stayed the same. We are putting together our SSCS1 form and have already done the work on the submissions etc.
Do you have to hand write your evidence like your sample submission or will a typed out version be accepted as this is what we sent into the DM, asking has my writing is not very good

Mr Frog

Your request for an appeal, not your detailed reasons, has to be with the Tribunal Service no later than one month after the date of the MR letter, so this would be 18 May based on your post.

Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.

Mr Frog

Technically you have one month from the date of the DWP letter accompanying their bundle but in reality the TS will accept information up to seven days before the hearing.

Sorry I missed this earlier, typed or written whatever is easiest for you subject to legibility.

Make sure each page has your full name, NIN and appeal reference number. I would also number each page and provide an indec based on this.
