I have been very mislead by esa reassessment. First told its this year back in march as told m.p.showed my letter my condition worsened. Then told its deffered to 2024..I ask.for them.to repeat it on phone again. Then they wouldn't say it it anytime we like. To contact you for it. I asked for clarity as why say 2 things. Or in writing. Then I say I want ask.for it sent soon instead as have new medical evidence. Condition worsened you see. Then.they say no u got wait. They wouldnot answer m.p. request for months.very confused not spoken.to.nicely call centre conflicting each other each one.. does it help.to complain. I did try through m.p. they ignored them.for month. Then they send me out esa 50 form. Recently I fill it in Then. Then eventually get call.back.from.complaint to they say its cancelled again as I changed my.mind. to make out I'm.changing my.mind which I did not. Where do.i stand. I told them.i have memories cognitive problems..need my carer to talk for me..they reassure me my claim.not affected if I wait. For 6 months do it the because of the backlog. Where do I stand? Any one else gone through it. As I did not change my mind. I just wanted know which one it was. Now or when? As they are manipulating me I feel. Don't know where I am?

Hi NikNak

I can see from your other post that Gordon answered that you have been having a terrible time over your ESA review. Yes, you could put in a complaint. Will it help or will they listen? I can't tell you. Some people get a satisfactory answer to their complaints and many do not. It won't actually make them deal with your case any quicker. You could always try involving your MP if you wanted to - some can be very helpful.

Yes thanks for bring nice to me. Helps bit. I have got a letter sent few days ago from a dwp person who verified it in writing. That I be reviewed 2022. So I got to ring back ask for callback from him..as he specifically says to ring him if any questions about it. As the other complaints team. are not getting back to me ignored my callback. Not putting anything in writing. Just trying to question me . Saying why did I change my mind. It's getting out of hand. I need my carer. To talk on my behalf. As the complaints were trying to twist what I said causing making it worse. I do what gorden says. Must get it all in writing. As I asked to it looked at again. If there's delays because of covid they should give that in writing to see me now or 2024. I realise I'm in support groups.
For it be waived reviews I'm just asking for. Then They agreed to it and he put it in writing for 2022. If this dwp man ignores my callback the decision maker. then don't know where I'm.suppose go from here. As Concerned there making up things recording my calls twisting it now. I need some help. As m.p. said they can't do nothing. The citizens advice is always not answer calls either . So any.more tips advice where go.if they ignoring me still on phone? Callbacks please get back to.me. its not helping me all.this anxiety.

I'm.going to just send the letter as evidence in tell.him tell.them I got proof. is best way. Got helpful person today at last. saying if I sent my esa50 in they got look at it. As its in time I got my proof post. I think uts who I get on.phone..some are just out to confuse vulnerable people on there. It may help.others not give up our rights..if they read this to. Thanks for Gordon's good sense advice as usual.

Hi NikNak

I'm glad you are going to follow Gordon's advice. As for the complaint, I can't offer you any tips. If it was me, I would wait until you sort out the money aspect. You can deal with complaining about their practices later. I know that may not be easy, but you have a huge amount of stress from what's happened and I should try and put the complaint aspect aside at the moment.

Well I am in a backlog anyway awaiting a review because of covid I'm.told. It was due soon anyway. I just wanted to send in the updated evidence. From hospital to say I should not be put through any more reviews is why I sent it in now. As they do ask for updated reviews periodically anyone In the support group can get these. I was advised. There still reviewed every few years. In support group. So I done the right things sent in the esa 50 form.now. expect long wait. I'm.not going try get to stressed if i can. As i have alot medical evidence. G.p. hospital to.
Like know if anyone gets exempt from reviews for esa? Or foreseeable future. Do you know of anyone. I prefer not say what condition I have on here?
