Hi I’m new too this forum I have Charcot Marie tooth syndrome and potocki lupski syndrome too I receive pip for my condition and my health has declined since first applying for pip I have asked for a early review of my claim has my mobility and the Demilitarisation has got a lot worse can anyone give me any advice on what happens with a early review and if the form has charged at all in the last 7 years I received my pip for 10 years I’m into my 7th year of it now and was wondering if they still back date it if it changes from low too high thank you
If you have asked for a review, you will be sent a review form to complete. As you have already had it for seven years, I assume you have never filled in a review form before? We have comprehensive information on how you should approach this. You may then have a telephone, face to face or paper-based assessment. If you are given a higher award it will be backdated to the time you put in the request for the review.
