You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is;
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum There is quite a backlog with PIP claims, to put your mind at ease contact the PIP helpline; 0800 121 4433 and ask if they have received your claim, best time to call is first thing in the morning 9.00 am.
Did you send your claim by recorded delivery? If you did check whether or not it was received and signed for by DWP.
DWP do sometimes send confirmation text messages, so check you phone for a ,message.
