I am having a pip review now Adult disability Payment in Scotland I am cuurrently on standard rate but nothing for mobility I requested a letter from my consultant. On reading it isounds like it is going to make my case worse. It stated that on last seeing me almost a year ago my lupus was stable. No signs of inflamatory markers etc. i really dont want to include it now as it does not reflect my daily struggles with this chronic illness Any advice would be appreciated
You can submit, or not, whatever documentation that you want to support your claim, just be aware that if the assessor contacts your GP then their view may be related, although it is very unusual for the GP to actually be contacted.
So you might, without specifically referencing the letter, provide information that counters the GP's opinions.
