Not sure where to post this on the forum so please move if needed. Due to me moving shortly from England to Scotland I am in receipt of ESA in the support group with the SDP premium. I’m aware everyone is being migrated onto UC but what will happen to me moving to Scotland, will it just be classed as a change of circumstances and UC use my existing ESA WCA results or will I have to apply from scratch for UC ? Thanks
Thank you for your post, we do not have enough information to give you any advice as it does depend on a number of factors such as, will have have to claim for help with housing costs. As you receive SDP then that tells me you are in receipt of IR ESA, which is means tested.
I would advise you to contact your local Welfare Rights Organisations; advicelocal.uk they will be able to give you advice based on your circumstances.
