I received a text message on 10th February telling me in short that DWP has received my PIP review form. Then on May 8th I received another text from DWP which distressed me. It said “ we have your PIP review form and we will review it as soon as we can. Call us only to report change of circumstance. You may be called to attend an assessment from a health professional” - I don’t know what this message really means it makes me anxious though. i have seen other members received text message on the same day and they sent theirs PIP on Aug 2022 if i am right When we filled in the form with my support worker help who also uses this website we put in the request for paper assessment and I think the doctors letter backed it up-you and my support worker said it was excellent letter from doctor. I read from this benefits and work website that PIP reviews can take up to a few months to 18 months. Now my original award is to expire on 27th of November 2023 so what does it all mean? Does it mean if i have not heard from them nearer the time i need to call them or just dont worry about it and they will extend it automaticaqlly? I am really confused. In any case I hope you can advice if you can Regards Raj Karia
