My PIP review was created by butterflybear
Hello, My PIP Review forms were completed and sent back to the DWP in May & I received confirmation it had.I am still waiting to hear.I had a text last week saying We still have your pip form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can.
I know there is a backlog but it’s been 6 months? My reward expires December 28.
Any advice? Thank you.

Hi butterflybear

Unfortunately, a six-month wait is common. The longest we have heard this year has been 18 months! The DWP told another member this week to ring up two weeks before the end date to see what is happening. Although I'm sure yours will be extended until your review is completed, I would ring them for an update.

I sent my review form back just after Xmas last year. They did a paper review and I got the award letter a couple of weeks ago, so I was 10 months! (I’m in the South West of England if that makes a difference)

Hi butterflybear

You may not want to do this, but faced with a similar position to yours, one of our members applied for the blue badge directly through the council and was awarded one.
