My more than 12 months ESA contribution based benefit will end next April.I have been advised to claim ESA income related, however I am fortunate to have over £6000 in savings which reduces the benefit.A job centre + man suggested that my savings would probably have "dwindeled"to below this figure by April, allowing me full benefit. Is it OK for savings to "Dwindle"?

There can be issues under the heading of "deprivation of capital", although it is unlikely, based on the figures you have mentioned, that this would be the case. However, it is beyond the remit of the forum to provide specific advice in this area, so if you have concerns you should speak to your local CAB or Welfare Rights office.
