d.l.a.review form

hi all,i got the dreaded brown envelope just before xmas23/12/2011.i was awarded hrm and hrc in 2001 indefinately,i am 66 year old pensioner,with osteoarthritis in the spine and most other joints that is now worse than ever.so it seems no one is safe,read on arthritis care website that under 18's and over 65's will not be reassessed,but phoned D.L.A and they said they can issue the forms whenever they like.going to ring ageuk tomoz to get help with form.will keep you informed.all the best to everyone.very worried o.a.p.

You are not alone, on the 20th i got the letter and forms saying i was being moved from ib to esa and the forms to go with that and on xmas eve i got the dla review pack!! just out of interest is your form a DLA80? currently trying to get all my consultant letters and reports to send with the forms!!

hi stickman 1992.yes my form is the same dla80,my problem is getting medical evidence i was discharged by all consultants several years ago,being told my condition was serious and nothing could be done,and would just have to live with it,i have seen my g.p every 2-3 months to review my meds but he also said the same,i-e you cant replace neck and spine.maybe someone could advise me on best course of action i need to take.phoned ageuk this morning to get help filling in the form but they dont do it anymore,lack of funds and staff.cheers.

stickman1992 hi you got your dla review form on the 20/12/11 what date do you have to return it by.i got mine on 23/12/11 and have to return it for the 17/01/12 thats less than 3 weeks taking into account the holliday's,a request to see my medical records i believe can take 3 weeks plus,thanks.
