Does Assessment Period Count?

Now that the one-year cut-off for contribution-based ESA has been defeated in the House of Lords,will the assessment period be counted in any future revision of this Bill - say, from one year to two years? Or will the two-year rule start from when you are actually placed in the contribution-based WRAG?
