Would like some help with this question . I have been on ESA contrib for two years now I have had my letter to advise me about the changes in April and like a lot of people am very worried my health has not improved at all in fact it has got a lot worse I phoned the DWP on Monday because I thought I should be due for my review a lady said I was due around the middle of December I said I have not recived any medical form to feel in I explained my condition was not any better and she said I should recive a pack to fill in in the next couple of weeks if not to ring up again I will appeal if they dont put me in the support group but my question is will i be able to do this because of the changes and the time it takes to do it Thank you jellybean
If your condition has deteriorated, then you ask for a Supersession, which will cause a re-assessment of your claim. This will still result in an ESA50 being issued and potentially a requirement for a medical.
