Could anyone tell me why I have received a review of appointment to act for disability living allowance form for my son who has cerebral palsy the content of the letter basically out lines what it is to be a appointee and asks me to sign and return the letter within 2 weks stating I am still meeting my responsibilities for the care of my son which beggers belief to be honest ! However is very concerning ! Would very much appreciate some guidance thank you.
From what I can find the UK was found to be in breach of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, as a result of this the DWP have been required to carry out an appointee review.
