I recently attended an Atos medical even though I am unable to claim Esa contribution based as the 365 day rule has been applied.
I requested a copy of the medical report, and the examining doctor states that I have significant disability with walking and standing or sitting for over 30 minutes. The prognosis from the atos doctor states that a return to work is
unlikely due to the esa 50,history and medical examination.I advise that a return to work is unlikely in the longer term, various discrepancies I have found in the medical report, which I will challenge, but I have been placed in the work related activity,I am aged 63,so I am a little bemused. Can you help please
If you have enough NI credits to qualify for your state pension you might wonder whether it is worth continuing 'claiming' ESA if your condition is such that accessing the Support Group is unlikely before you reach retirement age...
