Waiting for decision reconsideration was created by johnben
I am in the process of being moved from I.B. to E.S.A. To which I failed to get. I appealed DWP decision. One month later told that my appeal/papers had been sent sent to another office for decision reconsideration.Letter received from that office that papers/appeal had been received and they would reconsideration etc. 2 months passed & I have not heard anything. Contacted that office & was informed that due to workload it would still take some time yet for decision reconsideration. Does anyone here know if, this length of time is normal to wait for a reconsideration?Am I being paranoid or do I smell something fishy here? Please note: I am not waiting for a Tribunal hearing date.DWP have not yet sent my Appeal to Tribunal.

The system is crumbling under the workload and everything is taking longer than usual. The longest I have heard for recon so far is 4 months and I expect it to get worse before it gets better!
