attended medical assessment centre with my son and his father ,the last one in October was cancelled and after appeals benefits were reinstated, although they (assessment centre could not determine where the paperwork and evidence had been sent. The assessment centre had not set up the requested tape facilities and so they cancelled the assessment again and made a further date for Feb . I saw the file they had at the centre which was very sparse and did not contain evidence or corrospondence they had been sent with the esa 50 .I queried this with the manager who spoke with us about the cancellation, they blamed a receptionist for not advising them re the recording. How many times do we have to go through this?
I'm afraid his claim cannot progress until an assessment report is produced, you can make a complain but claimants have no legal right to an assessment being recorded so you were lucky that they did not require it to go ahead without the recording being done.
