Is it possible/permissible to have both a solicitor and a Welfare Rights represent you at your appeal?
Are barristers available to represent you in place of the above people?
Thank you
Hi JMF,
I don't quite understand why you would want a Solicitor and Welfare Rights to represent you at a First Tier Tribunal (FTT) Appeal Hearing ?
Welfare Rights Officers are by far the best people to represent you at an FTT hearing as they have far more experience than Solicitors in dealing with "Benefit" appeals at the FTT.
Legal Aid is no longer available for FTT Appeals.
Barristers only usually get involved in high profile test cases at The Upper Tier Tribunal. (UTT)
