My husband has an indefinite award granted in Nov.2015. Prior to being called for PIP he had an award for DLA until 2023. We filled in all the boxes, probably over detailed (but who knows with this lot??) We did not ask our GP for a letter as we had no idea of the 'tricks' involved, the assessor refused to even look at scans, we just gave the info we had & asked Atos to look at the paperwork going back over the years & gave the Mobility ref.nbr. It must have worked somehow, as a home visit was granted & higher mob.& higher living allowance awarded. So who knows how this hateful system functions???.
