Sorry to keep asking questions but as the f2f looms closer things keep popping up in my mind.
I provided the list of meds from my on line medical records when I sent off the PIP2, but just wondered if they ask to see the actual meds themselves when they visit ?

Yes they probably will.

So the assessment is done, he came spot on time and was here an hour, had been on tenterhooks since 6am half expecting them early or a text to say they were cancelling.
Seemed nice enough although remained distant and business like and when I asked what area of the medical profession he came from the answer was Capita, showing me his badge a second time, so left it at that as seemed clear he wasn't going to answer that one.
Started off by going through my conditions, medications for them and who I saw where about them, in fact that constituted most of the assessment time other than a few questions about food preparation and personal hygiene. He never asked me to do anything such as stand, move etc.
What is worrying me is that he never really touched on any of the mobility questions, could that mean they are only assessing/considering me for the equivalent of DLA and not motability - am presently on higher rate DLA and mobility ? The loss of the latter in particular worries me as it is our only source of transport and we live in the middle of nowhere.
From what I have read on this site it seems usual for DWP to send a text once they have received the assessment and that you always recommend claimants request a copy, when is the appropriate time to make that request. And is it best done both verbally and in writing.
Thank you in anticipation,

The assessor has to look at both your care and mobility problems, it's possible that they were happy with the information in and with your PIP2.
Yes, there should be a text but it often take a week or more before it is sent.
You should be able to request a copy of the report now, you should be able to phone for it, but we always recommend following up in writing.

Hi B,
DWP do not always send a text acknowledging receipt of the assessment report - whether or not they do seems rather hit and miss!
You can ask for a copy of the assessor's report, I should give it a week or so from the assessment. We usually suggest following up any verbal request in writing although I will admit that it is not always necessary.

Just to keep the thread updated, received the "we have all the information we need" text this morning, that's over a week since my f2f so not sure if that means they only just received the report from the assessor or if they are just slow.
