Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Dianne,
Please don't rely on DWP to contact you when your new 'fitnote' is due. You should send it in the the address on any communication from DWP relating to your ESA claim. Make sure your name and NI number are clear. If you can afford it, signed for on delivery is a good idea. Otherwise, make sure you have proof of posting at least.

Hi Dianne,
I too am waiting for a decision about PIP, my assessment was on 8th August so hang in there you'll hear something when they are ready. I keep going to the door looking for the dreaded brown envelope. I got one off them two weeks ago, just to say they now have the evidence and will contact me shortly.
Am I right in thinking you have already got a copy of the report? I thought you had to wait until the decision was made before they would send it. I might see if I can get a copy of mine, it's stressful waiting, knowing a lot hangs on their decision.

ESA claimants have to wait for a decision before they are sent a copy of the report. In most cases, PIP claimants can get one pretty much straight away - although we have heard from members who have been made to wait.

Hi Naughtybonbon
Sorry for the late reply, And yeah I requested a copy of the assessors report about 2 weeks after my f2f. It was sent out to me within 3 days. And I also got a letter from them recently saying sorry its taken longer than expected to give you a decision etc. The waiting is just torture .......and although my report seemed quite accurate ...and if going by that report , I would receive an award for both daily living and mobility, but i'm still not going to assume that will be the case.
