I am new to the forum so please be gentle .
I have been in the WRAG group for a number of years , i intitially appealed and was turned down to be placed in the support group.
I have been suffering from numerous illness' that have become worse over time as well as being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and am being tested for an autoimmune disease called Sjorgrens Syndrome.
I sent the DSS a short letter requesting for reconsideration together with a letter from my GP and evidence from my Rheumatologist with letter of diagnosis.
I have been told that i am on the waiting list for another medical for assessment. Can anybody tell me if there is a maximum waiting time for this and how i can prepare in the best way or the best links i need to read on this site as i find it difficult to navigate around all the information.
Thanks in advance
Steve.

I would start by having a look at the ESA Claim guide on the following link
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa1
In particular look at the section for qualifying for the Support Group you will need to meet one or more of these Descriptors to be placed in the SG.
If you have more questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
