Has ‘reliability’ changed as a factor in PIP? was created by LindaRiver
PIP2 form has arrived for my sister. I had a sample PIP2 that I have been looking at and I notice that the just arrived PIP2 does have some important changes. For instance, whereas the sample PIP2 starts questions with a reference to ‘reliability’ by saying “tell us if you can’t do this safely, to an acceptable standard, as often as you need to and in a reasonable time”. The just arrived PIP2 form contains no references to anything to do with reliability. Several of the questions appear to have shifted emphasis in subtle but important ways.
Does anyone know if the use of ‘reliability’ as a factor in eligibility for PIP has changed? Is there any information on site about these newest PIP2 forms?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

The definitions for reliably or rather the four statements in encompasses are defined in legislation and there have been no changes to these, or indeed any of the PIP legislation.
Remember, the PIP2 is simply a vehicle for you to explain your limitations, don't feel that you have to stick to the format that the DWP have provided, yes you need to answer the questions but it is your choice how you do so.
