And on the mobility issue which I won on appeal last time, I expect them again to say that with no diagnosed cognitive impairment, the journey planning descriptor can't apply.
Can you advise whether it's wise to hand the HCP a piece of paper with the extract from p117 of the PIP Assessment guide, which says that "Cognitive impairment encompasses orientation (understanding of where, when and who the person is), attention, concentration and memory. "? And explain how the latter three aspects apply to me? Or best leave this for the Man. Recon. Or appeal?
I see no particular problem with your doing this, there's really no value in holding anything back from the assessment, this is about getting the right Decision first time.
