Lost the mandatory reconsideration knock back lett was created by Tracy
Brown envelope arrived not given one single extra point. I was disappointed because I used the information here and thought I had done a really good letter.
Is it worth going to the tribunal? I am feeling a bit disheartened at the moment but sure after a good nights sleep I will be ready to fight.
My husband has been on the sick for 10 years. He has depression, doesn't go out unless I take him, umbilical hernia, asthma, gout and sleep apnoea. With being sick for so long he only sees the GP so didn't have tonnes of medical evidence.
They said he seemed fine in the interview so they think he can go out by himself.
He was on high care low mobility before. Nothing has changed since the last award. He spends 16 hours a day sleeping

Hi Tracy,
I am sorry, but not surprised, that the MR did not go in your favour. It is unusual for them to do anything other than 'rubber stamp' the original decision
The fact that the MR did not find in your favour is no indication that you would not win an appeal! The Tribunal panel pay less notice to the assessor's report and more to the claimant in front of them on the day.
You have a bit of time before you have to get an appeal request submitted so I suggest you sleep on it for a day or so.

You need to send an SSCS1 form to the Tribunal Service

Tracy
Better news awaits.
Hardly anyone gets a decision overturned at an MR and it is designed to wear us down so we do not appeal.
GoodNews is you can and SHOULD APPEAL and you will probably win.
So you need to get that FORM ASAP
