I was going to leave it until the 28th to make the first call and that would mean i will be assessed in Januaury
There was a proposed change in regard to the points scored for the use of aids, but it was withdrawn and will not now happen. There are currently no proposed or pending changes to PIP.

Have the DWP or the government definitely confirmed that this proposed change will not now go ahead. I have tried to get more information on this but without any luck.
Where did you get this information from?

That is a relief because i had read various articles on google that the DWP have introduced this and will be affecting anyone applying for PIP from January 2017 and thereafter anyone who comes up for review of their respective awards.

It happened when the Government were defeated over the proposed changes to Tax Credits, I suspect that the press coverage of the PIP changes being abandoned got lost under the furore over TC's.
Call Me Dave and Gideon had to announce that there would be no further changes to benefits during the life of this Parliament.
