Benefits when you retire PIP and ESA do they stop?

I am 62 now but like many other claimants as we get older still unable to work claiming ESA and PIP what happens if we are receiving these benefits when we retire.

The ESA will stop when you reach State Retirement Age, the PIP will continue providing you continue to meet the criteria for an award.

After retirement age, does DWP ease off their continual harassment in their assessment of your PIP award?

One of the ethos's of PIP is that claimants will be reassessed on a regular basis, this will not change just because the claimant has retired.
