This is about those assessing you being able to read the content, if you are typing your answers then you can use mixed case, if you are writing it the I would use capitals.

Hi
I've sent my ESA50 form and was just wondering how long the waiting time is in the Birmingham area for an assessment date. Also how long is the whole process likely to be.
Thanks

I should say this is a re assessment and not a new claim, don't know if that makes a difference

Hi P,
The fact that it is a re-assessment should not alter the time scales involved.
We don't have the statistics that you ask for and as things stand timescales will depend on Maximus's caseload in any particular area.
They do seem to be backlogged once more and I am aware of at least 2 people who sent their ESA50's back in September 2016, and have still heard nothing.
As long as you are sure that they have received your ESA50, the ball is in their court and your current ESA payments will remain in payment until a fresh decision is made by DWP.
The only thing that you can do is to Contact Maximus (aka CHDA/HAAS) or DWP ESA for regular updates.
