Thanks. We have written the MR letter, concentrating on how I am affected and what I cannot do when hypo and recovering and why those things matter. I think I finally understand the difference between stating what happens and what the impact is!
It is difficult for anyone to understand the impact of a condition if you can’t tell them.
I think also we now have a better grasp on things that matter (I need people to get food into my mouth during a hypo to reverse the effects), but I don’t need to make budgeting decisions when I am hypo! Having said that, I have done some very odd online shopping when hypo - including trying to buy $1500 worth of factor 50 protective clothing from California. Fortunately, I was too shaky to be able to input my card number properly and the transaction didn’t go through.
Living in the West Country, we rarely need factor 50sunscreen let alone protective clothing!
