Hi am new to this site and would like to know information on PIP. I won my appeal in Dec 2015 and was awarded the higher rate! The letter sent out to me explained that my award will be up until May 2018? I have now been sent a PIP form to fill out about my mental health and now have to go for a medical yet again. I don't understand why I need to go for this medical when my award is till May 2018. Am also getting ESA in the support group since 2012 and have to go for a medical for that one too. Really don't know what is going on with the system, any advice?
I'm afraid nearly all PIP awards are being reassessed a year in advance of the award ending.
