Curious to know what evidence the Dwp use and the lengths they go to in providing counter evidence at an appeal? Do they secretly go out following and filming people ? Do they hack our internet and our bank accounts? I know this may seem highly paranoid and I'm not at this point, but I feel that my whole life is under scrutiny now and feel totally dispirited about this whole process. Please enlighten me if you can .

No the DWP do not do any of these things as part of an appeal!
Their submission consists of a summary of their view of the Decision, references to the legislation used and a copy of all the documentation used in its making, typically the claimants claim form and any evidence they attached, the assessment report and any information collected by the Assessment Provider.

Evidence provided by the AP would be the result of the face2face plus anything from medical practitioners they have contacted (this does not happen often!)
