I thought you claim esa or carers not the both together
if claiming carers would I loose my housing benefit and would I have to pay full rent ?
what is carers premium
thank you
A lot of people assume because you normally won't receive payment for CA if you are receiving ESA(CB) that you can't claim it, but you can.
I don't see why your HB would be effected but you need to check with your Local Authority as we don't advise on this.
For ESA(IR) the CA is treated as income, so you will be paid the ESA but your ESA(IR) will be reduced by a similar amount leaving no net change, the Cares Premium is aid to provide additional income of £36.40 a week.
If you decide to claim CA, please get face to face advice from a trained advisor, they can calculate how your payments will change so you can make an informed decision.

esa tribunal tomorrow
been a while
I've now got pip running ok
esa at a reduced rate
I've sent in the evidence from my pip tribunal also the result paper stating that I can't walk 20 meters without shortness of breath or discomfort decision from the pip tribunal a week earlier
it's like being on trial for murder the stress since December is over whelming life changing in fact
can't see why they make you suffer and cause stress
fingers crossed
