Medical Report list of physical examinations was created by eahoskins
Had my PIP decision so waited for a copy of the medical report because I felt I should see it. The assessment had last exactly 1 hour despite my having 12 declared health conditions which had to be discussed - diagnosing doctor etc. I was n er given time to explain and no probing questions for daily living. The last 2 crucial questions 13 & 14 were hardly mentioned . My physical examination lasted 5 mins (including the reading test) I remained in my seat and it was cursory to say the least.
The HP never laid hands on me except for me to try and push her fore fingers together (??) I did not lie on a couch. Yet in the medical report there are 40 descriptions of examinations to various parts of the body referred to. Only the few you could see from looking at me were correct. The rest were very detailed but were never undertaken e.g. Hip rotation. How many examinations of a claimants body are usually made? I seem to have every possible onel listed in my form yet they never happened. My Physio said they would take 40 mins!

Welcome to the forum.
It's important to understand that the assessment is not a medical, it is a functional assessment of your abilities to complete the PIP activities.
Any physical examination will be minimal, however, it is not uncommon for the assessor to offer opinions of your physical capabilities based of their observations of you during the assessment and from your journey to and from the assessment.
You do not mention how the assessor has marked you, if you think that an award is possible then it may be to your advantage to wait and see whether the DWP agree, however, if an award seems unlikely and you believe that some or all of the statements in the report are not based on reasonable opinion or actual physical examination then you can make a complaint to the Assessment Provider about the quality of the report. Be aware that successfully disputing the report may well result in a new assessment being required. See
