PIP appeal was created by mark
After following your instructions as best I could to ask for a reconsideration of some areas of my PIP assessment, the PIP has dropped my carers from enhanced to standard, on a whim.
I've been to the MP who happens to be the Boss of DWP, and managed to get a home visit finally after 3 months for ESA but he has said I need to appeal for the PIP.
I'm housebound, with agoraphobia and severe depression, PTSD etc. but cant find the help sections relating to how to appeal on here. I'm a paid up member, but the links just send me in a loop saying I must subscribe, which I have already done.
If someone could put a link to the relevant papers, it would be much appreciated
Many thanks.

Have you had a Decision on your MR yet? You cannot appeal until the MR has completed.
If the MR did not result in the award you hoped for then you can appeal.
The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and instructions on how to complete it, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.

If you still have problems accessing the guides then you need to contact
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.
If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
