Had F2F on Monday was created by agatha
When I was leaving the man said, " you will get your results in six to eight weeks". Is this just something they say, or is this the time it will take? Thanks

We were told 8 weeks by the Assessor, we had our reply 3 1/2 weeks later (in line with what Gordon posted)

Thanks Gordon for your reply, I was just wondering why the man asked me about Facebook, if I had any pets and how many bedrooms and bathrooms i have? How do these work in what I thought was a medical? Thanks in advance for any information.

Just recieved another f2f appointment for 02/05/2017. I had one last week, this is at a different place and doesn't say what for. We have been asked by the DWP to carry out an assessment in relation to your benefit claim. WCA AL1C 02/15 is in the info but doesn't say what for. Help please

Although the DWP get very shirty when we say that the assessment isn't a medical, the simple fact is that it isn't, it is a functional assessment which is very different.

Some of the questions are down to some bizarre beliefs that the those assessing claimants hold about their capabilities, so questions about Facebook are in relation to the claimant being able to socialise, despite the requirement being that they meet face to face and if you are able to look after a pet then you are clearly able to look after yourself.

I'm actually unsure of the bedrooms question, maybe it's to do with cleaning, if it is then they had better not look in our spare rooms! The bathrooms is to do with whether you have to go up or down stairs when you need the loo.
