Hi,
Normally I would receive my ESA on the last working day prior to a bank holiday. I usually get paid on a Tues. However I didn't receive any payment today. I phoned DWP today & they said they don't do that now for those normally paid on a Tues and I would get it on my normal day.
This has never happened before and I would like to ask if anyone else has experienced the same today.

It's been like this for some time. as you have been told it is only when the payment day is a Bank Holiday that payment is moved forward.

To follow on from my previous post about Easter payments.
Today Good Friday I went to withdraw money from the wall and found I had been paid, after being told by someone at the DWP that payment wouldn't go in until my normal pay day being Tues after Easter. It must have gone in at midnight last night.
I'm not complaining ; and it was a nice surprise ,especially as I had resigned myself to the fact I wouldn't receive anything until after Easter.
I guess all' swell that ends well .
