Hi I have just a quick question
My mum has had to give up work on health ground due to osteoarthritis in her upper and lower spine and knees and also neck problem she has unlike me I have a lot of doctors and consultants that I am under due to MS and spondyloathropy and arthritis on both knees
So does anyone know if she can claim pip with just her gp as there is nothing else that can be done and is no longer under anyone.
My mum moved in with me to help me with my health and now we are both useless together

If she is under the age of 65 and believes that she can show that she meets the criteria for a PIP award then she should consider applying.

The lack of support will not help but it's not impossible to receive an award with just the support of the claimants GP.

both my wife and myself claimed PIP with no supporting evidence. After having f2f we both were awarded std DL and en mobility. the only supporting evidence we used was a GP letter when we appealed my wifes claim.and won enhanced both. It is possible.
