GONZALO wrote: I am a 63+ & was placed in the ESA Support Group since March 2012 & previously on I.S. I was required to submit this March an ESA 50 & I enclosed a medical report from my specialist detailing my multiple chronic diseases, my mental condition & he stated my inability to work. I enclosed a letter from my GP with similar evidence. I have been asked to attend a face to face in two weeks time. I am terrified of some sort of entrapment at the face to face. I only have two years left until I receive my state pension. How was it decided that I should have a face to face? Can anyone in a similar circumstance share their experience & what I should expect. Thanks.
The vast majority of ESA claimants are required to have a face to face, so it's really not abnormal that you have as well. The decision that a face to face is required is primarily based on the information included in and with your ESA50 and whether they can make a recommendation to the DWP based on what they have.
