Hi
Hope all is well at B&W.
I currently receive DLA lifetime award-higher rate mobility and lower rate care.
I understand that all existing DLA claimants should be invited to claim PIP by Sept 2017.
I find I am worrying more and more the closer Sept gets. My heart is in my mouth every day when the postman comes. If I contact the DWP, will they be able tell me when I can expect to receive the letter, or will this trigger a letter sooner rather than later. If I know when the letter might arrive I might be able to stop worrying every time the post man comes ( in the short term at least)

I believe the target is now 2018 but given that they have only "transferred" about a 1/3 of DLA claimants in the last four years, even this new deadline seems wildly optimistic.
DLA claimants are being chosen at random so you could be invited at any time.

Hi SandR, i'm in exactly the same situation as you, wondering if the DWP have forgotten me !!! I'm glad to hear only a 1/3 of transfers have been done so far. You never know they might be a change in policy before they get round to us.

They won't be able to tell you, as I explained in my previous post they are choosing DLA claimants randomly!
