Delay in moving to PIP + IDS was created by John Riley
I am a lifelong tory voter, but May's arrogance meant she (nearly) got was she deserved. As for IDS, the man is not fit to be anywhere] in office.

Now, my wife has ms, she is completely disabled to the point where she cannot walk, wash, shower, cook, drive, you get the picture. She is on higher rate Mobility and living. My point is that Ann will 65 in November this year and she receives state pension. She hasn't been notified yet when she must "apply" for PIP yet, she cannot work due to ms and in any case she'll be 65 in November.

What if the DWP or agents assess her as suitable work at 65 years plus, it seems anything can happen when ATOS and others lie? What chance is there of work for her?

Every day I look for the letter in the post from the DWP asking for her to apply for PIP, but no it isn't there.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Neither DLA nor PIP are out of work benefits, so she won't be assessed as fit for work. If she is not transferred to PIP or does not receive the award that you expect then you can challenge that Decision,

If you decide not to do this then she can claim Attendance Allowance although this does not have a Mobility component.

DLA claimants are being chosen at random so it could still be several years before she is invited to claim PIP.
